The NCC is a non-profit company that will:

As per the NCC objectives; as stipulated in the constitution, lobby and advocate on matters that will allow the Namaqualand district to become a thriving business and investor friendly environment.
Strive to energise local economic and entrepreneurial activity.
Act as a resource to members including chamber activities, business support, skills development, knowledge transfer, dissemination and mentoring.

WHY DO WE NEED YOU AS AN ENDORSER?

We need you as a person, group or organization that has an interest or concern in the success of the organisation. In addition to its normal membership fees, you’re opted to participate in the endorsement program of the NCC.

Purpose of the endorsement program:

The program is to build trust and accountability in the business community through affiliation. New businesses will gain trust and social accountability by affiliating itself with the NCC, while established businesses will add trust and social accountability to the NCC by having the NCC gain broadened support amongst businesses.
We offer endorsers the option of actively participating in projects and programs developed and rolled out by the NCC. The degree to which endorsers participate in projects and programs will remain at the discretion of the executive committee of the NCC.

Requirements of endorsement program:

Such a person, group, or organization must be a member of the NCC. Membership must be in good standing pertaining to organizational conduct. Membership/contribution fees (starting at R100,00 p/m) for endorsers are waived. All membership benefits are accessible for endorsers.
Exemplary organizational conduct meaning that the person, group or organizational entity’s tax affairs are in order by presenting a tax clearance and has not been implicated in or investigated for any corrupt or fraudulent activity.
You have to be committed to contributing a minimum of 1000 ZAR monthly to the NCC or provide a continuous specialised or operational service to the value of minimum 1000 ZAR per month.

Logo or name will reflect on the website of the NCC under the heading endorsers or partners.
Will receive invitations to functions organized by the NCC.
Will at the discretion of the executive committee, be privy to business cases developed by members of the NCC business development, uniquely for the Namaqualand district.
Will receive electronic copies of annual financial statements compiled by professional accountants.
Better negotiated tariffs/rates/prices from suppliers and service providers of the NCC
Will have an option of being notified regarding new sector development projects, with the option of involvement if desired
Receive tax incentive in line with Section 10(1)(cN) of the Income Tax Act No. 58 of 1962 (the Act), which exempts from income tax, receipts and accruals of any PBO approved by the Commissioner in terms of section 30(3) of the Act.

Will be privy as a special guest at all gatherings, functions organized by the NCC.
Will at the discretion of the executive committee, be privy to business cases developed by members of the NCC business development, uniquely for the Namaqualand district.

The execution of new sector development projects
On the withdrawal of capital from the account of the NCC for more than 50 000 ZAR. Endorsers will always be made aware of how the NCC is spending the majority of their funding, and given the vote as to whether the use of the funding is appropriate or not.
